Pino Luongo & Mark Strausman Cocktail and Dinner Thursday the 25th, 6:00PM Serratto Two Meatballs in the Italian Kitchen (Artisan) finds two impassioned chefs resolving their differences in a cookbook that will redefine Italian cooking. When chefs Pino Luongo and Mark Strausman decided to write a cookbook about simple Italian food they love, they began to argue about whose book would be better. The solution: two authors, two stories, two sets of recipes, all in one book. Please note: this special event takes place at the restaurant Serratto, 2112 NW Kearney St. A cocktail social/booksigning will take place in the bar from 6-7pm. At 7pm Chef Josef Valoff will create a multi-course dinner with recipes from Two Meatballs in the Italian Kitchen. Dinner price ($85 per person, or $145 per couple) includes one copy of the cookbook. Reservations for the dinner portion of the event are required and must be secured with a credit card. Call Serratto at 503.221.1195. The dinner size is limited so reserve your space early.
